MDM Shelters recently designed a tent which was specifically designed for use in large scale humanitarian relief efforts. We've begun working with the United Nations to provide these tents to areas that are in dire need. Our tents are perfect for use in response to natural disasters or any event that results in a large number of refugees. When we set out to design the Rhino Shelter Disaster Relief Tent we wanted to exceed the standards of the humanitarian tents readily available to relief agencies.

First, we focused on creating a humanitarian aide emergency shelter which was sturdy enough to withstand an uncertain environment and yet intuitive enough in its design to be assembled quickly. We started with a frame made from heavy duty structural steel. This industrial strength frame slides together preventing assembly from becoming a chore involving an assortment of hand tools. The doors and cover of the tent have been made from long lasting, UV ray resistant and fire retardant PVC Vinyl fabric. Our Disaster Relief Tent thrives in cold or hot climates and can stand up to the rigors of any relief effort.
